We stayed at this hotel for the weekend and thought it was a great place. Location was perfect for our needs. Our room was comfortable, clean and spacious. There was plenty of choice at breakfast, something to suit everyone. The staff were all excellent but I would like to mention Hafiz especially for remaining calm when the breakfast queue was huge because he greeted everyone with a smile and even cleared some tables himself. He is worth hanging on to in my opinion.

Don't expect a view over the Thames for the price but expect a clean, warm comfortable room. Shower was particularly good and the fact that they'll store your luggage for free ( a donation to Gt Ormond Street hospital suggested) is a massive plus. Yes they have minimum staff but found them all very helpful, especially Richard on reception who was so courteous and friendly, he made us feel very important guests, well done Definitely stay again

Most convenient location. Clean room and nice bed, but the room was very tight, almost felt light half in size than a comfortable room. It was okay for me and my wife but can be an issue for folks with kids.

Premier Plus Room last night was spotless, and very comfortable. Enjoyed the waterfall shower too. A lovely team of staff on arrival in the evening, in the restaurant and at checkout: professional yet friendly and approachable. Good selection of well cooked food for breakfast, as well as Continental, and fresh fruit. Ideal location for visiting central London, Parliament, The Thames and the London Eye... right next to the Hotel!

The County Hall Hotel is a good hotel overall, and its location is excellent — it’s right next to the London Eye, which is very convenient for sightseeing. The hotel itself is comfortable, and staying there was a nice experience. Of course, it was more expensive because we stayed during the New Year period. What really frustrated me, however, was not directly the hotel’s fault. We chose this hotel instead of a cheaper one mainly because we planned to spend New Year’s Eve in the Green Zone, which was supposed to be just a one-minute walk from the hotel. Our idea was to watch the fireworks and then go straight back to the hotel. Unfortunately, after the fireworks, the security closed the roads, and instead of a one-minute walk, we ended up walking around London for almost one hour to get back. So, if you’re visiting London for New Year’s Eve, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel — or I would strongly suggest not leaving the hotel that night. However, at any other time of the year, it’s a good hotel with a great location. The only downside was that the cleanliness could have been better

This hotel is amazing value and great. Our room had a view of the London Eye - it’s very central and well-located for the Merlin attractions. The rooms were really spacious, much larger than usual in London. The best thing about this place though was the friendly staff. From check-in, the man tried to get me and my friend rooms on the same floor (it didn’t work out but he tried anyway which was lovely). Richard at breakfast was very accommodating with our tables and made the kids hot chocolate. The vegan sausages were freshly made for us and so yummy. I had to Google which ones they use as they were so nice. You can leave your bags there too so very convenient for sightseeing and the staff were always smiling. Highly HIGHLY recommend. For a chain hotel I was very pleasantly surprised with this stay and will use this hotel again if I need to stay in London.

Clean and spacious room, no notable view. Went for the plus room and was happy with the shower and furnishings. Only 1 towel provided so needed to ask for an extra for my partner. Breakfast was a let down for the price, toast with pancakes and cereal for £11.99, cheap quality items. Location is the big plus and black cab available on call to take us where we needed to go.
